Young People in Focus
Schools and municipalities in the region work closely together to monitor students as they transition to further education, work, or daytime activities. This way, we keep track of them and work together to ensure they end up in the right place and/or stay there. We provide support when needed.
What does this mean for the student? From the age of 16, the school automatically enters student data into a digital tracking system. This system is called Intergrip. The tracking system consists of two parts: the first part only records whether the student will transition to education, work, or daytime activities. We also keep track of the next steps. The second part contains additional personal information, such as the student's strengths, what they need help with, and other details. Parents/guardians/legal representatives and the student must give permission for this section. This data can only be accessed by people directly involved in the student's career, such as the school, the municipality, or someone who is supporting the student in finding work. Within the region, we monitor (former) students up to the age of 23. More information about this monitoring system is provided in the school year in which a student graduates. If you would like more information sooner, please contact Melissa Hogeboom, our school's employment advisor (mhogeboom@kempenkind.nl).
